Parent Groupings consist of Parent-Child relationships. They are created due to various vendor components adding up to a whiole. An example would be an internet connection of $90 plus a modem of $10, collectiviely equalling a complete internet service of $100. In M3, Users can track each service individually and group them together so both act, and can be viewed, as a singular unit.
Combining multiple services together may lead to billing term conflicts. Therefore, M3 represents the collective value of a Parent Group as P-cMRC (Parent Calculated Monthly Recurrring Cost). This value normalizes all billing frequencies to monthly (from annual, quarterly, etc.) and currency to the default currency of the tenant (i.e. USD).
